INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY IN THE COORDINATES OF THE DATA ECONOMY

Abstract

Introduction. The use of digital data to create socio-economic value in the coun-try's economy is becoming a strategic asset of the Russian construction industry. Materials and Methods. Unlike physical resources, information (digital) resources are inexhaustible. They are scale-able and reusable at a relatively low marginal cost. Research Results. The relevance of the research of innovative solutions in the construction industry is due to the increasing value of data. The growth of users of digital services and platforms in various sectors of the economy is accom-panied by the generation and accumulation of huge amounts of data. The article substantiates the expediency of tracking trends and ways of using digital data in construction. It is shown that digital transformation covers the full life cycle of a construction project – from the engineering idea of the project to its commissioning. The basic principles of implementing digital information models in construction and their new opportunities in the data economy are highlighted. Discus-sion and Conclusion. It is concluded that it is necessary to expand the seamless interaction of all segments of the construction industry (industrial, energy, infrastructure, commercial, housing) for effective data exchange and building on this basis the competitive advantage of the country's economy as a whole.
