Abstract

Introduction. Modern logistics of interregional interaction is increasingly emerg-ing as a fundamental mechanism for the reproductive connectivity of regional economies. In con-ditions of institutional turbulence and territorial asymmetry, assessing the contours of trade and economic ties as a tool for spatial stability is particularly important. For the Chechen Republic, characterized by a partially closed economic model and limited export potential, identifying areas for the development of such ties is of practical importance. This article analyzes the region's lo-gistics architecture, assesses the degree of openness of its economic contours, and determines the conditions under which its integration with interregional reproduction chains is possible. Materials and methods. The study draws on the logistics paradigm of interregional trade developed by V. Borisova, with an emphasis on institutional and spatial mechanisms of integration. The study utilizes structural-functional and comparative-territorial methods, as well as a statistical recon-struction of the region's industrial and logistics profile. The empirical base consists of official data from Chechenstat, Rosstat, and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Chechen Republic for 2015-2024, as well as interregional cooperation agreements and expert publications on re-gional integration. Research results. An assessment of the Chechen Republic's production profile revealed the prevalence of a domestically oriented model: construction, retail, and agriculture are the leading sectors, while the share of manufacturing remains low. An analysis of the contour structure indicates a partial isolation of trade and economic ties: the region actively imports prod-ucts but generates a limited number of stable export flows. At the same time, the institutional potential for integration is growing: interregional industrial cooperation projects are being imple-mented, and the number of cooperation agreements is growing. However, these agreements re-main largely declarative in nature, lacking sustainable logistical and production coordination. Discussion and conclusion. The current state of trade and economic relations in the Chechen 187 2025 № 4 Vestnik of Rostov State University of Economics (RINH) Republic demonstrates divergent trends: on the one hand, the closed structure of economic repro-duction remains, while on the other, the preconditions for institutional integration with external economic zones are being created. The transition to an open model requires diversification of the production base, development of logistics infrastructure, and the institutionalization of interre-gional mechanisms. In this context, logistics of interregional trade is viewed as a systemic foun-dation for regional stability, enabling the integration of the internal economic zone into broader areas of mutual industrial cooperation.
