POSIBILITIES FOR DIGITALIZATION OF THE OIL PRODUCTION INDUSTRY IN RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract

Introduction. This article researches the modern trends in the digitalization of the oil industry in Russia, and observes its importance for sustainable economic development and the introduction of innovative approaches to production processes. The importance of a sys- tematic approach and the formation of a unified information environment is emphasized for the integration of various solutions and improving the efficiency of industry management. Materials and methods. The main materials for this work were the works of Russian and foreign scientists, statistical data for 2023, official reports on the work of the energy complex of the Russian Federa- tion. The work uses methods of system analysis, graphical interpretation of information, methods of analogies and correlation. Research results. The main information and technological solutions are analyzed. Their connection to the results of activities is considered and correlated with the types of operational processes in the industry. Based on this analysis and from the position of a systems approach, an assessment of efficiency and effectiveness is carried out. Conclusions are made about the high penetration of technologies into the activities of enterprises in the oil produc- ing industry, but also about the fragmentary use of digitalization opportunities. Discussion and conclusion. Fragmentary information and technological solutions are considered in relation to the types of processes in the industry. At the same time, the article discusses the key principles of de- veloping such an environment, including unity, security, autonomy, complexity, universality, flex- ibility and block structure. The article provides a rationale for the need for these principles and their practical application for adapting the industry to new challenges of the global economy.
