Introduction. The strategy of development of integrated planning of international supply chains of agricultural products, aimed at the development of export of fresh Russian pork to China, from the point of view of logistics is based on the technological advantages of transport logistics to prevent the negative impact of external threats – strengthening of competitors and quality indicators of their products by reducing transport and logistics costs with direct railway communication of major centers of the countries, as well as while maintaining the parameter of freshness of pork products. Materials and methods. In order to study and determine the supply chain optimization strategy between Russia and China, strategic management issues should be considered to achieve more practical results for the agricultural supply chain. For this purpose, the paper applies basic assessment methods such as SWOT, Porter's five forces assessment to formulate key directions for specific strategic steps based on the existing strategy. Research results. The article analyzes the external and internal factors affecting the supply chain of Russian pork exports, based on which a matrix for selecting a supply chain planning strategy was developed. Discussion and conclusion. A properly chosen supply chain planning strategy will in turn develop a well-functioning international agricultural supply chain.
