NEW CONTOURS OF THE WORLD ORDER: GLOBAL TRANSFORMATION AND AFRICAN COUNTRIES

Abstract

Article examines the current situation of countries of African continent, their resource provision, problems and prospects in context of modern global transformation and formation of contours of new world order. Based on analysis of prospects for formation of multipolar polycentric world as the world system exits the state of bifurcation, author suggests that for Africa it is more likely that one of potential poles will fall into the zone of neocolonial interests than becoming an independent pole. Conclusion is made about the importance of cooperation between Russia and Africa, which can help the countries of Black continent to gain their identity and consolidate on basis of pan-African idea.
