SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONAL SYSTEMS UNDER TRANSFORMATION OF GEOPOLITICAL CONDITIONS

Abstract

Article characterizes the factors of socio-economic development of regional systems under transformation of geopolitical conditions, presents the results of strengthening of production and socio-economic systems of Russian regions. Conclusion is made in favor of scientifically substantiated opinion that balance of regional socio-economic complexes on vast territory of Russian Federation, originally endowed with different levels of natural wealth and other resources is achieved through effective public policy. Concept of resource potential of region is analyzed.
