ANALYSIS OF HOUSING CONSTRUCTION PROSPECTS

Abstract

Lack of financial support can send the construction industry into uncontrollable peak, which will be replaced by prolonged stagnation. Article considers the issue of matching the growth of prices and volumes of housing construction in Russian Federation to real solvent demand. Existing models of crisis in construction industry and possible scenarios for development of situation are analyzed. Slowdown in growth rate of prices per square meter of housing will obviously lead to increase in share of unprofitable enterprises, which will force inefficient enterprises to leave the market, which in turn will stop the glut of residential real estate market with ready-made offers.
