Abstract

Article analyzes the main indicators of technological development of Southern Federal District, identifies patterns of technological development in region, summarizes global trends in technological development of industry; need to increase the role of regions in scientific and technological development of industry is substantiated, prerequisites for the formation of strategy for scientific and technological development of analyzed region in conditions of import substitution are identified (using the example of Rostov region).
