DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX OF RUSSIAN ECONOMY

Abstract

Digitalization of agro-industrial complex is considered as one of priority areas of Russia's economic policy not only at federal, but also at regional levels. Strategy for development of agro-industrial production assumes the presence of digital platform that provides a qualitative breakthrough in all sectors of the agro-industrial complex. Introduction of digital technologies into agro-industrial production provides an increase in its competitiveness. In context of economic sanctions from West, digitalization, which can ensure the qualitative growth of agribusiness, should be considered as a condition for ensuring the country's food security. Problems faced by agro-industrial complex slow down the process of transition to digital. Stimulation and regulation by state of introduction of digital technologies will improve the efficiency of Russian agribusiness. Presented study shows the most acceptable adjustments of state impact on processes of introducing digital technologies in agro-industrial complex in current conditions.
