ROBOTIZATION OF LOGISTICS PROCESSES IN OIL AND GAS COMPANIES

Abstract

Article explores the issues of robotization of logistics processes, through which projects for digital transformation of supply chains are formed. Features of end-to-end logistics process supported by «digital thread» have been established, which will allow uniting the interests of all supply chain enterprises, coordinating their activities, and identifying opportunities for prompt restructuring of logistics processes. The main digital tools used in practice of leaders of oil and gas industry, which help to increase corporate, social and environmental responsibility, and optimize transaction costs, are identified. Prospects for development of digital robotic technologies, due to solution of problems of digital transformation of business processes in oil and gas industry, are considered. It is concluded that growth and diversity of number of robotic and automated systems in production and logistics confirms the interest of oil and gas companies in implementation of artificial intelligence solutions for oil and gas complex.
