STATE AND PROSPECTS OF GLOBAL MARKET OF COLIVINGS IN CONDITIONS OF ECONOMY OF JOINT CONSUMPTION

The main purpose of article is to study the current state of global market of colivings and trends in its development within framework of paradigm of economy of shared consumption. In course of research, difference between the concept of сoliving from other models of cohabitation is presented, target audience of сoliving is described in detail, their classification and typology are given. Advantages of modern сolivings formats are identified, which are rapidly becoming key component of broader set of housing solutions designed to meet the changing needs of urban population. Socio-economic factors influencing the development of сolivings segment in global real estate market are determined, and investment arguments in favor of development of modern cohabitation facilities are outlined. Author emphasizes that as influence of urbanization and modern urban life becomes more and more noticeable, relevance of format of сolivings in city of 21st century will gain momentum. Special attention in article is paid to Russian sector of colivings, as a result, conclusion is made about the prospects for development of this segment of rental housing in Russia from the point of view of future of real estate and investment.
