LOGISTICS IN DIGITAL ECONOMY

Abstract

Modern economy is dynamically developing system, which is characterized by widespread use of information and communication technologies and digital solutions that stimulate global change. Result is new economy called the digital economy, or Industry 4.0. Logistic activities within the framework of Industry 4.0 it requires a serious rethinking of search for approaches, methods and technologies for its implementation. In this regard, it becomes relevant to study the possibility of using digital technologies, determining the prospects and conditions for their development. Article presents the results of study of the main trends in application of digital technologies in logistics. Factors stimulating and constraining the digitalization of logistics activities are identified. Examples are given and experience of using digital technologies in implementation of logistics operations in activities of advanced enterprises is summarized.
