TRENDS AND PROBLEMS OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF CITY OF TAGANROG

Abstract

Development of city of Taganrog for the period from 2018 to 2022 was accompanied by following conditions: impact of COVID-19 coronavirus infection, conduct of special military operation and sanctions restrictions. Analysis of dynamics of the main economic, social and budgetary indicators of city is very relevant, is of both scientific and practical interest, and allows us to identify the current trends and problems of development of municipality in new conditions. Chairman of Federation Council of Russian Federation V. I. Matvienko pays attention to the formation of Primorsky city as tourist center of region. During the period under review, a number of decisions aimed at improving the urban environment were adopted and implemented at all levels of government. Modern appearance of Taganrog has been changed by such projects as reconstruction of tram network, construction of floating pier, etc., social investment projects for improvement of Pushkin Embankment and the reconstruction of emergency hospital have been approved.
