Abstract

In modern conditions of digitalization of the economy, migration of the population remains the most important component of formation and realization of labor potential of the region. Article provides an overview of the existing research directions of migration processes using mathematical modeling methods, presents the author's results of the study of population migration in Southern Federal District and its region − Rostov region, which allowed to identify the key factors affecting the development of the regional economy.
