DIAGNOSTICS OF STATE OF INVESTMENT AND ECONOMIC ACTIVITY IN ROSTOV REGION IN CONTEXT OF MACROECONOMIC CHALLENGES

Abstract

At the present stage of country's development, socio-economic systems of regions face a number of common macroeconomic challenges, success of which largely depends on industry specifics of regional economy. Article represents the results of investment and economics’ activity level diagnostics in Rostov region over the past 20 years and assesses the mediumterm prospects for economic growth. Factors that led to the stability and rapid economy`s growth of Don region are determined on the basis of comparative analysis.
